Last weekend I drove down from Wellington and spent the morning at the Boca Raton Concours with my friend Kevin. Lilly Pray was judging and kindly extended an invitation to the show. The Boca Concours is going strong in its 9th year. The show was only a short drive from Wellington (Florida Turnpike + Mercedes SL 55 AMG = short drive!). The trip was worth every mile!
The show had quite an extensive motorcycle exhibit and several fabulous rare cars. Among my favorites: two Brough Superiors, two mint Dual Ghia’s, two prestine Lincoln Continentals, a perfect panel fit Mercedes 600, and a smattering of groundbreaking BMW’s.
This year the show honored Packard. Among the many stunning Packard’s in attendence, there were two fabulous Darrin’s and a beautiful 1934 “Packard Blue” 1107 V12 convertible. The following photos give you a flavor of the quality of machines on display.
